SCARAB LIVE supplies complete, appropriately sized audio systems and provides standalone engineers for productions that already have a system in place.
Two ways to work with us
Either we bring the system, or we bring the engineer.
Both routes are scoped in writing before the event, so responsibilities on show day are unambiguous.

Live audio, scoped two ways.
Every enquiry is answered as one of two clearly defined engagements. Nothing is quoted outside audio production and engineering.
Complete audio system supply
We provide and operate a full audio system sized to the venue, audience and programme. Coverage and headroom are specified for the actual room rather than by headline wattage, and the package is deployed and run by our own engineers.
Typically includes
- Main PA and subwoofers appropriate to the room
- Stage monitoring with wedges and drum fills
- Digital mixing console at FOH, and monitor console when required
- Microphones, DI boxes, stands and stage boxes
- Multicore, patch and power distribution for the audio system
- System deployment, tuning, line check and show operation
Suited to club shows, theatre and hall concerts, conferences and corporate stages, and outdoor events within the capacity of our inventory. We do not supply large-scale arena or major festival PA systems.
Standalone engineer support
When the audio system is already supplied — by the venue, the festival or another vendor — we come as engineers only. This includes larger productions where the PA is well beyond what we would supply ourselves.

We work to the existing rider and respect the host system owner's responsibilities and limits. Show files can be prepared in advance for the console platform in use, where the platform is confirmed beforehand.

Wireless microphone frequency planning and backup channels for the site.
Coverage and headroom planning for mains, subs and fills within our inventory.
Rehearsal attendance so mixes, monitors and console files are show-ready.
Lighting, video, LED, staging and rigging are outside our scope. Where an event needs them, we coordinate with the suppliers the production already has in place.
